Class 2A State Tournament Bracket

Confident or Confidence

One word describes Thursday night's Class 2A Area losers bracket showdown #13 Lady Bears vs the #9 Warner Lady Lions at Cushing High School gymnasium.

That's CONFIDENCE...when the Lady Bear's shine began to dim in the first half. What ever was said or not said in the locker room at halftime, ignited a spark and CONFIDENCE! Almost, like a dry well receiving a few trickles of water before the buckets were pouring in.

This is the girls high school playoffs and what team effort these Lady Bears' have accomplished down a tough road to the STATE TOURNAMENT. We are ALL hanging on for the ride.

The Lady Bears take on the Oklahoma Bible at 1:30PM who upset them in an overtime on our home court...while the Black Bears take the court at 8:00PM - #2 Pawnee vs. #3 Preston (Tulsa World rankings).

State Playoffs

The Black Bears need one win to get back to the STATE TOURNAMENT while the Lady Bears must dig deep and pick up three wins in a row to get into the same seat - first on the list is Warner for Thursday; second is the winner of Oklahoma Bible Academy (loss in OT at Pawnee) vs Gore; third is the loser of the winner area bracket between Preston vs Dale.
